Research question: Controlled drainage may affect phosphorus mobilization in soil. To assess P mobilization at different redox conditions, three soil profiles with redoximorphic features were selected along a slight hill slope and lysimeter monoliths were collected by drilling in 2018. In 2021, lysimeters were cropped with maize. Five maize plants of each lysimeter were supplied with underfoot fertilizer (P and S) while further five plants of each lysimeter were left without fertilizer. Water levels of the monoliths were adjusted to high and low water table to mimic closed and open drainage, respectively. The redox potential (Eh) was measured in situ and pore water was sampled weekly from three different depths of the lysimeters to determine pH and the element concentrations total C, N, P, Al, Fe, Mn, and Ca as well as inorganic and organic C (DIC, DOC), NH4+-N, NO2- -N, NO3- -N and PO43- -P in solutions (0.45 µm). Thus, information about different element concentrations at different redox potentials and pH was gained over a period of about 6.5 months in 2021.Der Datensatz beinhaltet Porenwasserdaten aus drei Beprobungstiefen von drei Bodenprofilen entlang eines Hanges in Norddeutschland. Die Daten informieren über wöchentliches Redox-Potential (Eh), pH-Wert und Element-Konzentrationen (TC, IC, OC, TN, NH4+ -N, NO2- -N, NO3- -N, PO43- -P, total Ca, P, Fe, Al und Mn) in gefilterten (0.45 µm) Bodenporenwasser-Proben aus 2021.
Wissenschaftliche Fragestellung: Kontrollierte Drainage könnte die Phosphor-Mobilisierung im Boden beeinflussen. Um die P-Mobilisierung bei unterschiedlichen Redox-Zuständen einzuschätzen, wurden drei Bodenprofile mit redoximorphen Merkmalen entlang eines leichten Hanges ausgewählt und Lysimeter-Monolithen durch Bohrung 2018 gewonnen. In 2021 wurden die Lysimeter mit Mais bestellt. Fünf Maispflanzen jeden Lysimeters wurden mit einer Unterfuß-Düngung (P und S) versehen, fünf weitere Pflanzen jeden Lysimeters nicht. Die Wasserstände der Monolithen wurden hoch bzw. niedrig eingestellt, um geschlossene bzw. offene Drainage zu simulieren. Das Redox-Potential (Eh) wurde in situ gemessen und Porenwasser wurde wöchentlich aus drei unterschiedlichen Tiefen der Lysimeter entnommen, um den pH-Wert und die Gesamt-Element-Konzentrationen von C, P, Al, Fe, Mn und Ca, sowie anorganisches und organisches C (DIC, DOC), NH4+-N, NO2—N, NO3- -N und PO43--P in den Lösungen (0.45 µm) zu bestimmen. Auf diese Weise wurden Informationen über unterschiedliche Elementkonzentrationen bei unterschiedlichen Redox-Potentialen und pH-Werten über etwa 6,5 Monate in 2021 ermittelt.
