By sequencing high-resolution DNA markers in over 4000 topsoil samples from natural and human-altered ecosystems across all continents, we illustrate the distributions and drivers of different levels of taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity of fungi and their ecological groups. We show the impact of precipitation and temperature interactions on local fungal species richness (alpha diversity) across different climates. Our findings reveal how temperature drives fungal compositional turnover (beta diversity) and phylogenetic diversity, linking them with regional species richness (gamma diversity). The participants were physicians, nurses, and care staff from randomly selected facilities, including hospitals, clinics, home-visit nursing offices, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities throughout Japan. The questionnaire was sent to 4500 physicians, 6000 nurses, and 2000 care staff. We assessed attitudes about end-of-life discussion with patients near death, identification of the proxy decision maker, and sharing documented information on end-of-life discussion with the multidisciplinary team. </p>Results:<p> We analyzed responses from 1012 physicians, 1824 nurses, and 749 care staff. The number of responders who considered they had adequate end-of-life discussion with patients near death was 281 (27.8%), 324 (17.8%), and 139 (18.6%), respectively. Participation in a nationwide education program and caring for at least 1 dying patient per month were factors that showed a significant association with adequate end-of-life discussion and identification of the proxy decision maker. </p>Conclusions:<p> The percentages of physicians, nurses, and care staff involved in adequate end-of-life discussion with patients near death were not high. The Rapid Estimate of Adult Literacy in Medicine (REALM) and the shortened test of Functional Health Literacy in Adults (S-TOFHLA) were the reference measures of health literacy. Two hundred ninety-nine participants completed the written and verbal administrations of the SLS from June to December 2012. Intermethod reliability was demonstrated when (a) the written and verbal SLS score did not differ and (b) written and verbal scores were highly correlated. This paper aims to analyse the benefits of learning through gaining experience with the aim of mastering entrepreneurship as one of the key competencies required for self-actualisation, lifelong development and achieving global competitiveness in the labour market. It describes, analyses and identifies elements of experiential learning as a prerequisite for the acquisition of entrepreneurial competence. The paper presents the results of research conducted on a specific educational model for entrepreneurship: The Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence of Vara\u017edin County (Croatia). From the analysis and interpretation of the obtained results, the findings show that the concepts of experiential learning and teaching at the Centre have been implemented through didactic-methodical work with students.
