Realizing this upcoming technology raises still many challenges at design, policy and economic level. This study addresses a geospatial methodology to quantify the important design and policy questions across Europe. An elevated agrivoltaic system on arable land is evaluated: three crop light requirements (shade-loving, shade-tolerant and shade-intolerant) are simulated at a spatial resolution of 25 km across the European Union (EU). As a result, this study gives insight into the needed optimal ground coverage ratio (GCR) of the agrivoltaic system for a specific place. Additionally, estimations of the energy production, levelized cost of energy (LCOE) and land equivalent ratio (LER) are performed in comparison with a separated system. The results of the study show that the location-dependent solar insolation and crop shade tolerance have a major influence on the financial competitiveness and usefulness of these systems, where a proper European policy system and implementation strategy is required. A spatially explicit techno-economic optimization tool simulates the EUWB power sector to explore the dispatch of new renewable electricity capacity on a EUWB scale, under ambitious CO2 emission policies. The results show that utility-scale deployment of renewable electricity is feasible and can contribute about 9\u201339% of the total generation mix, for a carbon price range of 0\u2013200 \u20ac/tCO2 and with the existing capacities of the cross-border transmission network. Even without any explicit carbon incentive (carbon price of 0 \u20ac/tCO2), more than 35% of the variable power in the most ambitious CO2 mitigation scenario (carbon price of 200 \u20ac/tCO2) would be economically feasible to deploy. Spatial assessment of bio-electricity potential (based on forest and agriculture feedstock) showed limited presence in the optimal generation mix (0\u20136%), marginalizing its effect as baseload. Expansion of the existing cross-border transmission capacities helps even out the variability of solar and wind technologies, but may also result in lower installed RE capacity in favor of state-of-the-art natural gas with relatively low sensitivity to increasing carbon taxes. Es el sistema de identificaci\u00f3n de parcelas agr\u00edcolas (LPIS en ingl\u00e9s) previsto en la normativa comunitaria de la Pol\u00edtica Agr\u00edcola Com\u00fan (PAC) como uno de los componentes del sistema integrado de gesti\u00f3n y control (SIGC) de las ayudas directas por superficie y otras asimiladas. El SIGPAC se configura como una base de datos geogr\u00e1fica que contiene la delimitaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica de cada recinto con su referencia individualizada, el atributo correspondiente a su uso agrario y otra informaci\u00f3n relevante, adem\u00e1s de otras cartograf\u00edas necesarias para cumplir su funci\u00f3n, y ortofotograf\u00edas y mapas de referencia de todo el territorio nacional.\nEl recinto SIGPAC es la parcela de referencia conforme a lo recogido en el art\u00edculo 2.2 del Reglamento Delegado (UE) n.\u00ba 2022/1172 de la Comisi\u00f3n, de 4 de mayo de 2022, por el que se completa el Reglamento (UE) 2021/2116 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo. Se define como una superficie continua de terreno, delimitada geogr\u00e1ficamente, estable en el tiempo, medible, dentro de una parcela SIGPAC con un uso \u00fanico de los definidos en el anexo IV del Real Decreto 1047/2022 y con una referencia alfanum\u00e9rica \u00fanica e inequ\u00edvoca. \nLa informaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica de los recintos est\u00e1 contenida en una capa vectorial del SIGPAC que cumple las normas exigibles para la escala 1:5.000. La base de datos alfanum\u00e9rica contiene la siguiente informaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima de cada uno de los recintos: c\u00f3digos de identificaci\u00f3n, superficie, coeficiente de subvencionabilidad en pastos, per\u00edmetro, c\u00f3digo de uso asignado, incidencias detectadas en la subdivisi\u00f3n, coeficiente de regad\u00edo, pendiente media, n\u00famero de \u00e1rboles de frutos de c\u00e1scara por especies y regi\u00f3n de ayuda b\u00e1sica a la renta para la sostenibilidad (seg\u00fan se define en el art\u00edculo 8 del Real Decreto 1045/2022, de 27 de diciembre), as\u00ed como otra informaci\u00f3n que se determine en la Mesa del sistema de gesti\u00f3n y control.\nEl \u00e1mbito del SIGPAC es nacional, y jur\u00eddicamente se configura como un registro p\u00fablico de
