Diese Prozesse k\u00f6nnen sich in den Flie\u00dfgew\u00e4ssern und ihren \u00dcberschwemmungsgebieten direkt auf die Hochwasserwelle auswirken (Gew\u00e4sserretention) oder auch die Entstehung einer Hochwasserwelle im Einzugsgebiet steuern (Gebietsretention). Ma\u00dfnahmen zum Erhalt und zur Erweiterung von Retentionsr\u00e4umen am Fluss selbst bilden die wirksamste Methode, den Wasserstand bei Hochwasserabfluss in einem Gew\u00e4sser abzumildern, da die Hochwasserwelle w\u00e4hrend ihres Laufes im Flussbett und in der Aue durch verschiedene R\u00fcckhaltemechanismen verformt wird (B\u00f6hm et al. 1999). Dem technischen Hochwasserschutz (Deiche, R\u00fcckhaltebecken, Talsperren) sind dabei Grenzen gesetzt, da R\u00fcckhaltebecken nicht beliebig gro\u00df und Deiche nicht immer h\u00f6her gebaut werden k\u00f6nnen. (Landesumweltamt 2003). Die Gebietsretention dagegen zielt darauf ab, die Abflusswelle dadurch zu verkleinern, dass das Wasser m\u00f6glichst am Ort des Niederschlags am Abfluss gehindert bzw. der Abfluss verz\u00f6gert wird (B\u00f6hm et al. 1999). Ein Ziel der Hochwasservorsorge muss daher sein, abflusserh\u00f6hende und abflussbeschleunigende Ma\u00dfnahmen zu verhindern und bereits eingetretene negative Effekte weitestgehend r\u00fcckg\u00e4ngig zu machen oder zumindest abzumildern. Il a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9 sur le tiers restant.\n\nLa mod\u00e9lisation de l'incertitude est une erreur potentielle qui permet une meilleure interpr\u00e9tation des produits cartographiques finaux g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par le projet CARBIOSOL. La cartographie des teneurs en Carbone organique total pour la p\u00e9riode 2015-2019 doit donc \u00eatre lue en association avec la carte des incertitudes. For the regional maps a different approach was used for agricultural land as compared to forest. The maps are based on digital soil mapping approaches using empirical models calibrated to predict the SOC stock and using covariates that are available at a sufficient resolution at the regional scale. All maps are strongly dependent on the Belgian Soil Map (texture and drainage parameters). The regional maps were compiled at a fine resolution (10m x 10m grid cells for Flanders and 40m x 40m grid cells for Wallonia). Next they were joined (40m x 40m grid cells). The regional maps for Flanders were scaled up to the 40m x 40m grid of Wallonia. Given the different origins of the individual maps, the uncertainty varies between maps. For instance, a map of the 90% confidence interval of the SOC stocks was produced for agricultural soils in Wallonia based on a Monte Carlo Approach taking into account both the measurement and the model uncertainties. For Flemish forest soils, spatial and analytical uncertainties were taken into account using bootstrapping techniques. For Flemish agricultural soils, the uncertainty reported is the model uncertainty on point estimates for each data point, in which the estimated model parameters are simulated 1000 times as being independent normal distributed variables using their model estimation and standard error as distribution parameters. No additional uncertainty is taken into account for the conversion functions that use the stochastic variables \"bulk density\". The metadata are available and allow assessing the uncertainties of the stock estimates in the different component maps. The SOC stock map (resolution of 40m x 40m) is the first comprehensive map for Belgium integrating grasslands, croplands and forests. Het resultaat van het milieuhygi\u00ebnisch bodemonderzoek omvat informatie over de meetpunten (o.a. boringen en peilbuizen), monsternamen, veldwaarnemingen en laboratoriumanalyses van veldmonsters (grond en grondwater) en het bodemonderzoeksrapport. Ook zogenoemde historische onderzoeken (waar alleen archiefonderzoek wordt gedaan) of onderzoeken ter evaluatie van een uitgevoerde sanering of ontgraving (verificatieonderzoeken in het kader van de milieukundige begeleiding) vormen onderdeel van dit registratieobject.  Voor de uitvoering van een milieuhygi\u00ebnisch bodemonderzoek zijn wettelijke (op basis van de 'Regeling bodemkwaliteit 2022') standaarden en protocollen van toepassing (NEN en SIKB).
