Soil and grassland basic figures are estimated depending on the type of soil, the state stage, the formation and the climate. In particular, the type of soil influences many yield-forming processes. So soils made of sand can provide little water with the nutrients dissolved in dryness, and soils made of clay more. Clay soils can store interchangeably bound nutrients better than sand soils. Soils of the same type have the ability to store water and nutrients and make them available to crops at different levels (development/ageing stages). Such and other differences in location conditions that are important for profitability are reflected in basic soil and grassland figures. With ground and grassland basic figures, a land use function is assessed in accordance with Section 2(2) of the BBodSchG, namely in accordance with point 3.c) the utilisation functions as a location for agricultural and forestry use. The criterion chosen for this purpose is the natural yield capacity with the characteristic value of soil and grassland basic numbers. The maps are available for the following scale levels: \u2014 1: 1,000-10\u00a0000 for high-resolution or parcel-sharp planning, \u2014 1: 10,001-35,000 for municipal planning, \u2014 1: 35.001-100,000 for planning in larger regions, \u2014 1: 100.001-350,000 for nationally differentiated planning, \u2014 1: 350,001-1000,000 for nationwide to nationwide planning. In this presentation, the natural yield capacity is classified regionally. Additions of NPK fertilizer, labile C (sugar) and fungicide (benomyl) were done in a fully factorial design, replicated in six blocks. The treatments were run for ten years and soil and vegetation samples were collected four years after initiating the experiment, and again after an additional 12 years, to evaluate the long-term effects. Labile C addition resulted in increased microbial biomass and nutrient immobilization after four years, and a long-term decrease in vascular plant biomass, thus suggesting the microorganisms to strongly control soil nutrient availability in periods of high microbial biomass. Fertilization increased the inorganic and total soil nutrient pools of N and P and the fine root biomass, but not the total aboveground vascular plant biomass. The vascular plant biomass increased due to benomyl addition thus indicating the plants to be strongly affected by the microbial community. Overall, the effects of benomyl resulted in more lasting changes in the soil compared to labile C and fertilizer addition. In relation to environmental changes, the indicated strong microbial control of the available nutrients in the fellfield ecosystem might limit ecosystem changes due to increased soil nutrient availability as otherwise expected in arctic soils.", "keywords": ["0106 biological sciences", "2. Silver birch and Scots pine were present in three stands and Norway spruce was present in all stands. For three fertile Norway spruce stands, fine root biomass and number of root tips per stand area or unit basal area were assessed from north to south. Principal component analysis indicated that short root morphology was significantly affected by tree species and site, which together explained 34.7% of the total variability. The range of variation in mean specific root area (SRA) was 51-74, 60-70 and 84-124 m(2) kg(-1) for Norway spruce, Scots pine and silver birch, respectively, and the corresponding ranges for specific root length were 37-47, 40-48 and 87-97 m g(-1). The range of variation in root tissue density of Norway spruce, Scots pine and silver birch was 113-182, 127-158 and 81-156 kg m(-3), respectively. Sensitivity of short root morphology to site conditions decreased in the order: Norway spruce > silver birch > Scots pine. Short root SRA increased with site fertility in all species. In Norway spruce, fine root biomass and number of root tips per m(2) decreased from north to south. Die Karte basiert auf den Legendeneinheiten der Boden\u00fcbersichtskarte mit entsprechender Zuordnung von parametrisierten Fl\u00e4chenbodenformen. Diese stellen je Legendeneinheit eine Bodenformengesellschaft dar. Die einzelnen (Fl\u00e4chen-)Bodenformen wurden mit Parametern belegt, auch mit jenen zur Berechnung der Bindungsst\u00e4rke f\u00fcr Schwermetalle (s. Hennings 2000, Kap. 2), die auf Basis von Gel\u00e4nde- und Laboruntersuchungen ermittelt wurden. Dazu wurden f\u00fcr gleiche Horizont-Substrat-Kombinationen die entsprechenden Parameter (Bodenart, Humusgehalt, pH-Wert) statistisch abgeleitet (i.d.R. der Medianwert). It provides an overview of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals for the depth up to 1 m in Brandenburg. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map (B\u00dcK300) with corresponding assignment of parameterized soil forms determined by field and laboratory investigations. For this purpose, the corresponding parameters (soil type, humus content, pH value) were statistically derived for the same horizon-substrate combinations (usually the median value). Er gibt einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die relative Bindungsst\u00e4rke f\u00fcr Schwermetalle f\u00fcr den grundwasserfreien Bodenraum in Brandenburg. Die Karte basiert auf den Legendeneinheiten der Boden\u00fcbersichtskarte mit entsprechender Zuordnung von parametrisierten Fl\u00e4chenbodenformen, die durch Gel\u00e4nde- und Laboruntersuchungen bestimmt wurden. Dazu wurden f\u00fcr gleiche Horizont-Substrat-Kombinationen die entsprechenden Parameter statistisch abgeleitet. Die Abfolge von Horizont-Substrat-Kombinationen in den Fl\u00e4chenbodenformen mit ihren Parametern bildeten die Grundlage f\u00fcr die Berechnung der relativen Bindungsst\u00e4rke gegen\u00fcber Schwermetallen (s. Methodendokumentation Bodenkunde,  Hennings 2000, Verkn\u00fcpfungsregel 7.1 bis 7.3). Gem\u00e4\u00df der INSPIRE-Datenspezifikation Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0) liegen die Inhalte der Karte INSPIRE-konform vor. Der WFS beinhaltet die folgenden FeatureTypes:     - Beobachtungsprozess (ompr:Process) mit Angaben zu der am Prozess beteiligten Organisation LBGR,     - abgeleitetes Bodenobjekt (so:SoilDerivedObject) mit Angaben zur Beobachtung der Bodeneigenschaft zur Beschreibung des abgeleiteten Bodenobjekts,     - Beobachtung einer Bodeneigenschaft (om:OM_Observation) mit Angaben zum Charakter des vom Boden abgeleiteten Objekts, der beobachtete Eigenschaft (observedProperty), der vom Boden abgeleiteten Beobachtung bodenbezogene Eigenschaften, dem Ergebnis der Beobachtungen des abgeleiteten Bodenobjekts,      - Bodenk\u00f6rper (so:SoilBody), abgegrenzter und hinsichtlich bestimmter Bodeneigenschaften und/oder r\u00e4umlicher Muster homogener Teil der Bodendecke, und     - Bodenschicht (so:SoilLayer) mit Angaben zur Zuordnung der Schicht zu einem ihrer Art entsprechenden Begriff, zum abgeleiteten Profil (DerivedSoilProfile), das als Referenzprofil f\u00fcr eine bestimmte Art von Boden in einem bestimmten geografischen Gebiet dient, der oberen und unteren Tiefe des Profilelements, gemessen von der Oberfl\u00e4che (0 cm) eines Bodenprofils (in cm).     ---      The compliant INSPIRE-WFS Soil / Relative Bindungsst\u00e4rke f\u00fcr Schwermetalle f\u00fcr den grundwasserfreien Bodenraum Brandenburg is a download service that delivers data in the annex schema Soil (derived from the original data set: Relative sorption strength for heavy metals for the soil space free of groundwater Brandenburg). It provides an overview of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals for the soil space free of groundwater in Brandenburg. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map with corresponding assignment of parameterized soil forms determined by field and laboratory investigations. For this purpose, the corresponding parameters were statistically derived for the same horizon-substrate combinations. The sequence of horizon-substrate combinations in the soil forms with their parameters formed the basis for the calculation of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals (see Methodendokumentation Bodenkunde, Hennings 2000, methods 7.1 to 7.3). The content of the soil map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0). Die dargestellten Inhalte wurden f\u00fcr den Ma\u00dfstab 1 : 300.000 erstellt und sind f\u00fcr Darstellungen in Ma\u00dfst\u00e4ben gr\u00f6\u00dfer 1 : 100.000 nicht geeignet. Die Karte basiert auf den Legendeneinheiten der Boden\u00fcbersichtskarte mit entsprechender Zuordnung von parametrisierten Fl\u00e4chenbodenformen. Diese stellen je Legendeneinheit eine Bodenformengesellschaft dar. Die einzelnen (Fl\u00e4chen-)Bodenformen wurden mit Parametern belegt, auch mit jenen zur Berechnung der Bindungsst\u00e4rke f\u00fcr Schwermetalle (s. Hennings 2000, Kap. 2), die auf Basis von Gel\u00e4nde- und Laboruntersuchungen ermittelt wurden. Dazu wurden f\u00fcr gleiche Horizont-Substrat-Kombinationen die entsprechenden Parameter (Bodenart, Humusgehalt, pH-Wert) statistisch abgeleitet (i.d.R. der Medianwert). It provides an overview of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals in the top soil in Brandenburg. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map (B\u00dcK300) with corresponding assignment of parameterized soil forms determined by field and laboratory investigations. For this purpose, the corresponding parameters were statistically derived for the same horizon-substrate combinations. The sequence of horizon-substrate combinations in the soil forms with their parameters formed the basis for the calculation of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals (see Methodendokumentation Bodenkunde, Hennings 2000, methods 7.1 to 7.3). The data set is provided via compliant view and download services. It shows the spatial distribution of the potential soil erosion risk caused by water on agricultural land in Brandenburg. The determination was based on DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773), for which the underlying method is referred to as the Allgemeine Bodenabtragsgleichung (ABAG). The soil erosion risk is presented in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential soil erosion risk caused by water results from the classification of the potential soil loss into risk levels. The data set is provided via compliant view and download services. It shows the spatial distribution of the potential soil erosion risk caused by water on agricultural land in Brandenburg. The determination was based on DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773), for which the underlying method is referred to as the Allgemeine Bodenabtragsgleichung (ABAG). The soil erosion risk is presented in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential soil erosion risk caused by water, which is also known as natural soil erosion risk, results from the classification of the potential soil loss according to DIN19708 into risk levels.
