The monitoring was carried out by a local ornithologist according to the standards for bird monitoring in Germany. During the surveys, bird species occurrences, the number of bird individuals and the type of habitat use (according to 5 predefined categories) were recorded.  Two mappings per month were conducted from April to June, and one mapping per month from July to March. Bird observations were conducted visually and acoustically and were carried out within observation circles with a radius of 100 m that were placed in the center of six fields. The data series cover the period from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2023. At each field margin and kettle hole, 3 different arable weeds (the most frequent ones) were selected and sampled for further analyses. Fusarium species were determined by culture-dependent methods from 10 weed pieces from each plant sample. Also, DNA was extracted from the dried and ground weed samples, and the abundance of Fusarium and Alternaria was determined by qPCR. Furthermore, the Fusarium and Alternaria infection on wheat ears in the transition zones between kettle hole edge and field and field edge and field in July 2019 and 2020 were determined. 10 different kettle holes and 6 different field edges each year were selected and transects were build up into the field (up to 50m). Fusarium and Alternaria abundance in the transition zones were analyzed by qPCR with extracted DNA out of dried and ground samples. The purpose for the collection of these data was a social network analysis among farmers in northwest Saxony, Germany. Our aim was to elucidate with whom farmers exchange knowledge on topics related to biodiversity conservation and knowledge on topics related to agricultural production. We also wanted to know from whom farmers receive support for achieving their agricultural goals and their biodiversity conservation goals. Finally, we aimed to understand how the farmers\u2019 social networks influence their participation in agri-environmental schemes. Specifically, we tested two main hypotheses with these data:\n\u2022 Farmers\u2019 social networks related to biodiversity conservation are distinct from those related to agricultural production.\n\u2022 Farmers\u2019 level of participating in AES is associated with their relations to certain actor groups.\nThe corresponding results are described in a paper with the title \u201cSocial network analysis among German farmers reveals potentials to overcome the production-conservation dichotomy in land use\u201d that has been accepted for publication in People and
