As not all erosion-prone municipalities have an approved municipal erosion control plan yet, the map cannot be considered complete. It is estimated that around 120 municipalities in the Flemish Region are affected by water and processing erosion in at least part of their territory due to the combination of the sloping topography, the high clay content in the soil and the agricultural practice with intensive arable farming. In Flanders, these municipalities are concentrated in a band of an average of 30 kilometres in the south of the Region. About 100 municipalities have an approved erosion control plan. Dit leidt o.m. tot een afname van de bodemkwaliteit en -productiviteit, maar ook tot belangrijke schade door modderoverlast in stroomafwaarts gelegen (woon)gebieden. De goedgekeurde bezwaren werden zowel in het veld 'Erosiegevoeligheid verzamelaanvraag' als in het veld 'Totale erosie' verwerkt. De goedgekeurde aanvragen van de verlaging van de erosiegevoeligheidsklasse op basis van een hoog koolstofgehalte werden in het veld 'Erosiegevoeligheid verzamelaanvraag' verwerkt met aanduiding van \u2018/ C\u2019 achter de erosiegevoeligheid, maar het veld 'Totale erosie' behield zijn oorspronkelijke waarde voor deze percelen.\nErosie door water is een proces waarbij bodemdeeltjes door de impact van regendruppels en afstromend water worden losgemaakt en getransporteerd, hetzij laagsgewijs over een grote oppervlakte, hetzij geconcentreerd in geulen en ravijnen. Dit leidt o.m. tot een afname van de bodemkwaliteit en -productiviteit, maar ook tot belangrijke schade door modderoverlast in stroomafwaarts gelegen (woon)gebieden. Bodemerosie is een van de belangrijkste vormen van bodemaantasting in Vlaanderen. \nDe potenti\u00eble bodemerosiekaart per perceel is gebaseerd op de landbouwgebruikspercelen ALV 2019 (export augustus 2019). De potenti\u00eble bodemerosiekaart per perceel werd opgesteld door het Vlaams Planbureau voor Omgeving door middel van computermodellering met een ruimtelijke resolutie van 5x5 m. De berekening van de erosie is gebaseerd op de herziene universele bodemverliesvergelijking of R.U.S.L.E. (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation, Renard et al, 1991). Het betreft een empirisch model waarmee de gemiddelde jaarlijkse bodemerosiesnelheid per oppervlakte-eenheid als gevolg van intergeul- en geulerosie wordt berekend als een product van 6 factoren.", In the first case, one parameter corresponds to one measured value; in the second case with multiple measurement points and values. A single or multiple observation is always linked to one soil location, one depth interval, one soil site or one soil sample. A soil location, soil site, depth interval or soil sample can have 0 or more observations. There are three different types of single observations: a distinction is made between observations of a numerical value (these are measurements), observations with a free text value (these are observations) and observations that are categorized via a list box (these are coded observations).
