It provides an overview of the relative sorption strength for heavy metals for the depth up to 1 m in Brandenburg. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map (B\u00dcK300) with corresponding assignment of parameterized soil forms determined by field and laboratory investigations. For this purpose, the corresponding parameters (soil type, humus content, pH value) were statistically derived for the same horizon-substrate combinations (usually the median value).
